How far are you from the ski mountain?
We are located approximately 2 miles from the Beaver Creek ski mountain. It is visible from the end of our street.
What is the closest chairlift?
The nearest ski lift is the Lower Beaver Creek Mountain Express (Google map here), which is visible from our living room and is about a ten minute walk. Renters are permitted to use the footbridge that our neighbors at the end of the street have built; crossing it enables you to ski directly to the Lower Beaver Creek Mountain Express lift.
How do you get to the mountain?
A complimentary shuttle service called Dial-a-Ride provides transport to and from the mountain. You can call in the morning to arrange a pick-up from the house; their website recommends that you allow 10-20 minutes for pick-up from your time of call. Their shuttles circle continuously every 10-20 minutes until 5:00 pm. After 5:00, you will need to call to request a pick-up from your Beaver Creek location (again, please allow for a 10 to 20 minute wait.)
How close are you to the ski school?
Children's Ski School at Beaver Creek is located approximately two miles away, at the Gerald R. Ford Hall, between the Park Hyatt and McCoy's Cafe. The official website (available here) will provide you with more information about the school itself.
Do you allow pets?
Unfortunately, pets are not permitted.
How do you get from the airport to your house?
We are located 132 miles west of Denver International Airport (DIA). It takes approximately 2.5 hours to drive from Denver to Beaver Creek. There are various ground transportation options; if you opt not to rent a car, we suggest booking a reservation on Colorado Mountain Express, a shuttle that provides door-to-door service between Vail and DIA (private cars also available. Please see their website for rates and options.)
Eagle County Regional Airport is only 27 miles away (about a 35 minute drive). Click here for driving directions.
